Sounds of Babel

In the storm

In the atom

For the story,

For the song–

In sparrow’s quiver,

In endless rabble:

For the story,

The sounds of Babel.

Laugh and frown

Dirt and crown,

Seas and tears

Are all the same

In your ears.
